ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag) is een onafhankelijk platform dat Europees muziektalent wereldwijd in de schijnwerpers zet. ESNS biedt Europese artiesten – met speciale aandacht voor Nederlands talent – de kans om door te breken en uit te groeien tot de headliners van morgen.

Elke jaar in januari verandert Groningen in het kloppende hart van de Europese muziekindustrie, wanneer ESNS haar showcasefestival en muziekconferentie organiseert. Alleen de meest veelbelovende Europese en Nederlandse acts krijgen de kans om zich te presenteren aan enthousiaste muziekliefhebbers en professionals uit de muziekindustrie. Voor veel artiesten is dit hét moment wat hen helpt om door te stoten naar de podia van grote Europese festivals.

Functie-inhoud stage customer relations

ESNS is op zoek naar een stagiair Customer Relations. Als stagiair Customer Relations bij ESNS leer je werken in een evenementenorganisatie en help je mee in de voorbereiding, uitvoering en afwikkeling van de Customer Relations van een internationaal muziekevenement. Het team Customer Relations is hét contactpunt voor onze (potentiële) bezoekers. De afdeling verzorgt de kaartverkoop, hotelboekingen van ESNS en is de vraagbaak voor alle bezoekers. De afdeling zorgt ervoor dat bezoekers zich welkom voelen vanaf het moment dat ze een kaartje kopen tot aan hun bezoek aan ESNS. Als stagiair heb je een ondersteunende functie binnen het Customer Relations team en voer je een divers pakket aan werkzaamheden uit. Denk hierbij aan het bewaken van de overall planning, zorg dragen voor goede (interne) communicatie rondom ticketing, hotels, uitnodigingen en accreditaties, bijhouden van verkoopstanden en mail en diverse kantoorwerkzaamheden. 

Wie wij zoeken

Een leergierige en enthousiaste student/ afgestudeerde die op zoek is naar een Customer Relations stage en voldoet aan de volgende eisen: 

• taalvaardig: (zeer) goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal;

• je kunt goed overzicht bewaren en hebt snel door hoe structuren lopen binnen een organisatie;

• je gaat gedetailleerd te werk en voelt je verantwoordelijk voor een goede afhandeling van de taken;

• je bent initiatiefrijk en creatief in het vinden van oplossingen;

• je bent stressbestendig, flexibel en zelfstandig;

• je hebt een gastvrije en pro-actieve houding;

• je hebt een goed inlevingsvermogen en bent klant- en servicegericht;

• je bent in staat om op een passende manier te communiceren met verschillende doelgroepen;

• je hebt ervaring met Microsoft Office.

Werkzaamheden in de voorbereiding

De werkzaamheden voor de stage zijn onder andere: 

• ondersteuning van de coördinator Ticketing en de coördinator Hotels;

• de overall planning bewaken;

• bestaande procedures verbeteren waar nodig;

• zorg dragen voor goede (interne) communicatie rondom ticketing, hotels, uitnodigingen en accreditatie;

• bijhouden van verkoopstanden;

• mailbehandeling van onze ticketing- en hotelmail;

• diverse kantoorwerkzaamheden, waaronder de algemene telefoon- en mailbehandeling;

• het aannemen en verwerken van reserveringen binnen eigen reserveringsgroepen voor zowel tickets als hotels;

• up-to-date houden en bouwen van de webshop;

• de FAQ up-to-date houden;

Werkzaamheden tijdens ESNS

De werkzaamheden voor de stage zijn onder andere:

• aansturing van dag personeel aan de balie samen met de balie manager;

• beheer van de voorraad polsbandjes;

• inrichting van de conferentie & festival balies;

• levering van ticketscanners op andere locaties;

• oplossen van (ticket) problemen van bezoekers aan de balie;

• bijhouden van gastenlijsten en accreditatie lijsten.

Duur van de stage

September 2025 tot en met februari 2026. De begin- en einddatum kan in overleg aangepast worden. Het aantal dagen per week fluctueert. Indicatie: september en oktober 2 dagen, november 4 dagen, december en januari fulltime en 1 dag in februari. De verwachting is dat je 700 uur stage loopt.

STAGE PRODUCTIE

Functie-inhoud stage productie

ESNS is op zoek naar een productie stagiair. Als productie stagiair leer je werken in een evenementenorganisatie en help je mee in de voorbereiding, uitvoering en afwikkeling van een internationaal muziekevenement. Als stagiair heb je een ondersteunende functie binnen het productieteam en voer je een divers pakket aan werkzaamheden uit.

Wie wij zoeken

Een leergierige en enthousiaste student/ afgestudeerde die op zoek is naar een productie stage en voldoet aan de volgende eisen: 

• je kan gestructureerd werken;

• je bent praktisch ingesteld, je hebt de neiging tot actie over te gaan;

• je bent communicatief vaardig en aarzelt niet om de telefoon op te pakken;

• je bent stressbestendig;

• je bent vindingrijk en oplossingsgericht;

• je hebt affiniteit met de muziekindustrie.

Werkzaamheden

De werkzaamheden voor de stage zijn deels in overleg in te vullen afhankelijk van de interesses van de student. Standaard zijn onder andere: 

• het organiseren van een of meerdere (deel)evenementen tijdens ESNS;

• het plannen en notuleren van productievergaderingen;

• het beheren van diverse overkoepelende processen waaronder de planning;

• contact met leveranciers;

• meedenken over toegankelijkheid, diversiteit en duurzaamheid;

• verantwoordelijk voor goede telefoon- en mailbehandeling op kantoor ESNS.

Duur van de stage

Job content internship customer relations

For the upcoming edition of ESNS we are looking for two interns to join our Customer Relations team. As an intern Customer Relations at ESNS you will learn to work in an event organization and help with the preparation, execution and handling of the Customer Relations of this international music event. The Customer Relations team is the main point of contact for our (potential) visitors. The department handles ticket sales and hotel bookings for ESNS and is the helpdesk for all visitors. The department ensures that visitors feel welcome from the moment they buy a ticket up until their visit to ESNS. As an intern, you will have a supporting role within the Customer Relations team and perform a diverse set of duties, like monitoring the overall planning, ensuring proper (internal) communication concerning ticketing, hotels, invitations and accreditations, keeping track of sales statistics, e-mail and various office duties. 

Who we are looking for

An inquisitive and enthusiastic student/ graduate who is looking for a Customer Relations internship and meets the following requirements: 

• Language skills: (very) good command of the Dutch and English languages;

• You can keep a good overview and quickly understand how structures run within an organization;

• You work in a detailed manner and feel responsible for the proper completion of your tasks;

• You are innovative and creative in finding solutions;

• You are stress resistant, independent and have a flexible mindset;

• You have a welcoming and proactive attitude;

• You have great empathy and are customer and service oriented;

• You are able to communicate appropriately with different target groups;

• You have experience with Microsoft Office.

Tasks in preparation

• Support the Ticketing coordinator and the Hotels coordinator;

• Monitoring the overall planning;

• Improve existing procedures where needed;

• Take care of proper (internal) communication regarding ticketing, hotels, invitations and accreditation;

• Keeping track of sales;

• Handling of our ticketing and hotel mail;

• Various office duties, including general telephone and mail;

• Taking and processing reservations within their own reservation groups;

• Keeping the webshop up-to-date and building it;

• Keeping the FAQ up-to-date.

Tasks during ESNS

• Managing day staff at the front desk together with the front desk manager;

• Managing the stock of wristbands;

• Setting up the conference & festival counters;

• Supplying ticket scanners at other venues;

• Resolving (ticket) problems of visitors at the counter;

• Maintaining guest lists and accreditation lists.

We offer an internship at our office in Groningen at one of the biggest music showcase events and music conferences in Europe. You will work in an ambitious organization with employees throughout the Netherlands and partners from all over the world. Our headquarter is located in Groningen (next to the Oosterpoort) and we have a small office in Amsterdam. You will join us in the Groningen office.

Who we are looking for

An inquisitive and enthusiastic student/graduate who is looking for a production internship and meets the following requirements: 

• You can work in a structured way;

• you are practical and take initiative;

• you are communicative and do not hesitate to pick up the phone;

• you are stress resistant;

• you are resourceful and solution oriented;

• you have affinity with the music industry.

Tasks

Tasks can partially be subject to the wishes and interests of the student. Standard tasks include: 

• Organizing one or more (partial) events during ESNS;

• planning and taking minutes of production meetings;

• structuring processes within the production department, e.g. managing the production planning;

• contact with suppliers;

• thinking along about accessibility, diversity and sustainability;

• responsible for proper phone and mail handling in the ESNS office.
