Is muziek jouw grote liefde? Hou je van structuur en wil je met ons team werken aan het grootste showcasefestival van Europa? Dan hebben wij de perfecte vacature voor jou. ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag) zoekt een junior boeker Eurosonic die samen met onze boekers zorgt voor de totstandkoming van het muzikale programma van het festival.

Wat ga je doen?

Als junior boeker Europa maak je onderdeel uit van het programmateam en de projectteams Eurosonic en ESNS Radar. De focus van de rol ligt bij assistentie in het boekingsproces, met de intentie om ervaring op te doen en mogelijkheid door te stromen naar een volwaardige programmeur functie. Daarnaast maak je deel uit van het projectteam Radar, waarbij je wekelijks de chart gegevens analyseert. 

Samen met andere boekers ben je verantwoordelijk voor het samenstellen van het muzikale programma van ESNS. Je biedt ondersteuning aan de boekers van Eurosonic, waarbij je ook verantwoordelijk bent voor de bijbehorende administratieve taken. Je ondersteunt de 2 boekers Eurosonic bij het selectieproces waarbij uit meer dan 4000 inzendingen ons programma wordt gecureerd. Ook draai je ter ondersteuning mee in Europese projecten zoals de MME Awards en Exchange.

Je bent de contactpersoon voor diverse partijen die betrokken zijn bij een boeking. Zo onderhoud je contact met deze partijen en houdt ze je op de hoogte van de voortgang, bijzonderheden en voorziet ze van de nodige documenten. Indien er problemen optreden, communiceer je met de vertegenwoordigers om ze op te lossen. Daarnaast registreer je de boekingen, stel je contracten op, controleer je ze en leg je ze vast. Na bevestiging van de artiest zorg je voor het verkrijgen van de riders en begeleid je de aankondiging van de artiest. Je zorgt ervoor dat andere afdelingen tijdig op de hoogte zijn van alle relevante informatie, zodat de financiële afhandeling, hotelboekingen en het transport soepel verlopen. 

Wie ben jij?

ESNS zoekt een inspirerende, open minded en enthousiaste collega die het volgende meebrengt:

• Je hebt een bovengemiddelde affiniteit met popmuziek van Europese bodem;

• Je kan snel schakelen op verschillende niveaus en tussen diverse werkzaamheden waarbij je prioriteiten kunt stellen en overzicht weet te behouden;

• Je bent accuraat, georganiseerd en administratief sterk;

• Je bent stressbestendig en kan goed met deadlines omgaan, en vindt het geen probleem om in de periode september - november meer uren te maken dan de rest van het jaar;

• Je hecht net als wij belang aan het nauw samenwerken met elkaar in een internationale, creatieve en informatie organisatie;

• Je spreekt, schrijft en leest vloeiend Engels en hebt minstens basisvaardigheden in de Nederlandse taal. 

Wat bieden wij

Een tijdelijk dienstverband met startdatum in juni en met de intentie om te verlengen. Je werkt in een ambitieuze organisatie met medewerkers door heel Nederland en partners in binnen en buitenland. We houden ons hoofdkantoor in Groningen en hebben een klein kantoor in Amsterdam-Noord. Honorering is gebaseerd op schaal 4 conform CAO Poppodia en -Festivals 2024-2025 (trede afhankelijk van ervaring). Daarnaast zijn er secundaire voorwaarden zoals reiskostenvergoeding, coachingsuren, thuiswerkplek faciliteiten en een reisbudget voor Europese festivals. De inzet is gemiddeld 2 dagen per week, met een piek in september tot november en rondom ESNS.

Junior Booker ESNS

Do you have an ear for music? Do you love structure and want to work with our team on Europe's largest showcase festival? Then we have the perfect job for you. ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag) is looking for a Junior Booker for Eurosonic, who will work alongside our bookers to help create the music program for the festival.

What will you do?
As a Junior Booker for Eurosonic, you will be part of the programme team and the project teams Eurosonic and ESNS Radar. The focus of the role is to assist in the booking process, with the intention of gaining experience and the opportunity to progress to a full-fledged booking position. Additionally, you will be part of the Radar project team, where you will analyze chart data on a weekly basis.

Together with other bookers, you will be responsible for assembling the musical program for ESNS. You will provide support to the Eurosonic bookers, which includes handling related administrative tasks. You will assist the two Eurosonic bookers in the selection process, curating our program from over 4,000 submissions. You will assist in European projects such as the MME Awards and Exchange.

You will be the point of contact for various parties involved in a booking. You will maintain contact with these parties, keeping them updated on progress, adjustments in the schedules, and providing them with necessary documents. If issues arise, you will communicate with the representatives to resolve them. Additionally, you will register the bookings, draft contracts, check them, and file them. After the artist's confirmation, you will ensure the acquisition of riders and guide the artist announcement. You will make sure that other departments are promptly informed of all relevant details, so financial settlements, hotel bookings, and transport run smoothly.

Who are you?
ESNS is looking for an inspiring, open-minded, and enthusiastic colleague who brings the following:

• A strong affinity with European pop music;

• The ability to quickly switch between different tasks at various levels while setting priorities and maintaining oversight;

• Accuracy, organizational skills, and administrative strength;

• Stress resilience and the ability to meet deadlines, with no problem working more hours than the rest of the year between September and November;

• A shared commitment to working closely together in an international, creative, and information-driven organization;

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, and at least basic proficiency in Dutch.

What do we offer?
A temporary position starting in June, with the intention of extending after the first year. You will work in an ambitious organization with employees throughout the Netherlands and international partners. Our headquarters are in Groningen, with a small office in Amsterdam-Noord. Compensation is based on scale 4, in line with the Collective Labor Agreement for Poppodia and Festivals 2024-2025 (level depending on experience). Additionally, there are secondary benefits such as travel reimbursement, coaching hours, home office facilities, and a travel budget for European festivals. The workload is approximately two days per week, with a peak from September to November and around ESNS.
